As spring turns to summer, and the rain has finally passed, there’s no better time to awaken the senses and soak up the sun than during a leisurely sojourn through the verdant hills and vales of the wine country.
This year, July 14-23, Festival Napa Valley returns for its 12th consecutive run. A summer affair that conjures the ultimate in wine, cuisine and culture, it is one of the most coveted events of the season for those near and far.
With more than 200 participating artists, wineries, vintners, resorts and theaters, event-goers will have the opportunity to curate a unique festival experience, with crème de la crème access to famed cellars, parties and delectable meals prepared by world-renowned chefs. Whether it’s for a single day, a long weekend, or the entire festival, the event offers passes conducive to every interest and budget. Some standouts from this year’s line-up include an opening night gala at Meadowood Napa Valley, Taste of Napa, a Bulgari Luncheon and performances by Joshua Bell, Gloria Estefan, Bill Murray, and Jan Vogler & Friends.
In addition to championing an all-encompassing wine country experience each year, Festival Napa Valley has bestowed a number of scholarships to budding musicians, and provides support to arts education throughout public schools in Napa County, granting nearly $1 million since 2011. We’ll drink to that! FestivalNapaValley.org
